t.v.

What is it about t.v. that is so universal?  I swear our kids could watch 24/7 if we let them!  It's definitely a good way to keep 40+ kids busy and quiet and doesn't make a mess but I do find myself worried about how much and when and what.  We limit to weekends and holidays and days when there are strikes.  I walked in the living room this weekend and couldn't help but snap this picture.

you know, sometimes you can't avoid it. My 2-year-old grandson is all about thomas the train and a Cars DVD; and sometimes a grandma from Seattle just has got to get a few things done, and I put the TV on. It's what you do MOST of the time that counts. Christine from Seattle

Yes it's necessary and very important to limit and make a filter... Older teens can help to discuss and possibly shut down too much rude or pervasive images? Beyond this T.V. is like a window that we can open to look the world, to be prepared for it.

The photo above reminds me the puppies of the most famous Dalmatian dogs looking T.V.: adorable.
