Kopila Halloween!

Anjali and I returned to Kopila to a beautiful blooming garden and some really happy kids getting all geared up for Halloween. Our amazing Kopila Fellows were hard at work with all the kids making home-made costumes. Anjali and I had brought back face paint and M&M'S which came in handy!

On Halloween morning we went out shopping for the trick-or-treats and got ready to turn Kopila Valley into a haunted house. We had superheroes, scary zombies and vampires, and many beautiful princesses! We also had Jasmine and Aladdin, Tom and Jerry, Peter Pan and Tinkerbell! We organized a Halloween scavenger hunt that had the kids running all over the haunted house looking for clues. Aunties and uncles and I did a little too good of a job scaring the kids.  There were some tears.  Trick-or-treating all over the house was lots of fun too.  We set up mannequins, told scary stories, and had the kids complete all kinds of crazy tasks before they got their treat.

We ended the night with a big Halloween dance party and celebration! We are loving our Halloween tradition over here.
Prizes went to:
Shova (most creative)
Pankha (Scariest) and
and Yugi (Most halloween spirit)

Much love to all of you and Happy Halloween! ♥
